Terms of Use
These terms cover the QuestNudge app, this website, and the QuestNudge Alexa skill. By creating an account, linking the skill, or using a child profile a parent made for you, you agree to these terms.
The service
QuestNudge helps a household list routines, mark them done, and ask for more time by voice. A parent sets up the account and the routines. The service is a reminder and tracking tool. It is not a medical device, a childcare service, or a substitute for a parent watching a child.
Accounts
The parent account holder is responsible for the account, the child profiles they create, and the routines they enter. Keep the parent password and any child PIN private. Tell us if you believe the account is being used without permission.
You must give information that is true. Do not create an account for someone else unless you are that child’s parent or legal guardian.
Alexa
The skill runs on Amazon’s Alexa service. Amazon’s terms also apply when you enable it, link an account, or allow reminders. A parent chooses whether to link QuestNudge and whether to allow reminders.
Reminders depend on Amazon, the permission you granted, the device, and settings such as Do Not Disturb. A missed or late reminder is possible. Do not rely on QuestNudge as the only way a child knows about something that has to happen at a certain time.
Acceptable use
Do not use QuestNudge to break the law, to harm someone, or to upload content you do not have the right to store. Do not try to break, probe, or overload the service, or to access an account that is not yours.
Your content
You keep ownership of the names, routines, and other content you enter. You give us permission to store that content and to use it to operate the service, including speaking a task title on Alexa and, if you connect Google Tasks, sending that task to Google.
Our service
We may change, pause, or stop parts of QuestNudge. We may refuse or close an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.
Disclaimers
QuestNudge is provided as available. We do not promise that the app, the website, or the Alexa skill will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a reminder will be delivered at a particular moment.
Limit of responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, QuestNudge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from use of the service. Our total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for QuestNudge in the three months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you paid nothing.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes the personal information the app and the skill collect and how we use it.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and the effective date. Continuing to use QuestNudge after the new date means you accept the updated terms.
